JULEN GONZALEZ-RUA

Julen is the awesome little man who inspired his parents, Laura and Andoni, to start Julen Smiles. Born with an unknown genetic syndrome, Julen persevered through countless therapies, doctors appointments, hospitalizations and surgeries until he finally left us on August 11, 2019. He loved being held and was the favorite toy of his older sister, Alaia.

Although Julen is missed every day, Julen Smiles lives on in his memory, helping one family at a time.
